often while out in the world i snap pics of whatever is around me. This was taken the Sunday before Mardi Gras near Bishop Arts. TJ and I were out discovering the area, or -Cruisin the Cliff- as I've decided to call it. It's my new Saturday afternoon activity as I prepare to move there this May. I was searching for prospective rental properties and we came upon a ton of parked cars. Bishop Ave was closed for a Mardi Gras parade! We were too late for the actual parade, but the band was still playing so we grabbed a root beer from the soda gallery ( www.thesodagallery.com ) and trekked up and down the block. I really can't wait to finally move to Oak Cliff. There is such a great community of artists there. Oh, btdubs, the soda gallery is accepting submissions for their tribute to the 40th anniversary of Abbey Road, by the Beatles. Submissions, all mediums, are being accepted through March, show is April 25th.
Here's my hot take.
